We have been planning a series of tax-efficient investment funds to allow people to get involved in kickstarting some exciting creative projects - and we're delighted to announce that the UK's leading EIS Fund Manager Lacomp plc have agreed to work with us on Taylor Made Fund 1, which we aim to open in February.

We've got several comedy feature films in development (see Slate 1), including New Boy (click here
for more), Russell Labey ’s adaptation of the hilariously smutty William
Sutcliffe novel - this was revived very successfully at the Trafalgar
Studios in Spring 2009 with Nicholas Hoult (Skins, About A Boy).

We premiered Wolfboy, a brilliant play by Brad Fraser, at the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2009, and it got a very strong reaction from audiences and critics alike (click here to open the Wolfboy website and see the reviews) - so we're looking to bring it into the right space in London next year. The book by Russell Labey and music by Leon Parris (youngest Vivian Ellis Prize and Cameron Mackintosh Bursary winner) are stunning!
We're also starting to work with other producers on exciting new pieces by established talent, and developing other ideas: we had an inkling that The Beautiful South songs would work
brilliantly in a musical play (click here for more) – they’re lyrical storytelling at its
best but musically more dynamic and varied than people think. We've got a great first draft treatment, and now
want to do a workshop in town and see if it’s a goer.

In August 2009 we did the first bit of filming (on the River Thames on the hottest day of the year!) for Alice Inspires, our film material about Lewis Carroll's Alice books and their influence on modern British comedians (click here for more) - so we're now planning a few interviews with a few of said comedians, and will then edit together a promo. With Tim Burton's new film version of Wonderland (with Johnny Depp as
the Hatter) due to be released in 2010, there's bound to be even more
interest in one of the world's most popular books.
We’ve also thought for a long time that there was a new way of doing new Video Arts-style content for the iTunes generation, so we’re planning to produce some icebreaker films with top comedians on
financial issues (click here for more).
We're also looking into ideas for web and digital channels for entertainingly factual content, which could be interesting...
